Richard has over 20 years of experience working with youth and families in schools, non-profits, and juvenile offender programs. He holds a Master's in Counseling and has taught Parent Education in community and family court settings. As a School Counselor for a rural district, he worked at every grade level.  He brings a dynamic, fun, and experiential approach to teaching. As a divorced parent to two (now young adult) children, Richard has "been there" co-parenting great kids. In addition to being an Oregon Registry Master Trainer, he is a Class Facilitator for the nationally recognized Nurturing Parent Program. He loves integrating a passion for nature and outdoor play into learning.
