The Secret Of Empathy

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
The ability to express empathy -- the capacity to share and feel another’s emotions -- is limited by the stress of being around strangers, according to a new study published today in the journal Current Biology. Participants will learn and practice cooperative games that will decrease the anxiety of meeting new people, increase empathy among participants and create productive work groups. Principals of these games are based on Conscious Discipline I Love You Rituals and can also be used at home with our own children.

At the end of this session the participant will be able to:
  • Describe to other adults the importance of cooperative games in professional work groups.
  • Master at least one cooperative game to be played with a group of program leaders.
